Great service, kind staff, clean establishment

Great food in a decent atmosphere. Sometimes the folks get rowdy on Fridays. Most days it's a fantastic place to eat!

First time eating here. The food was really good. The serves was fast and efficient. We will stop here again.

Marvelous restaurant. The parking lot was full so we thought we might have to wait. No, we were seated immediately. Despite large groups arriving our service was excellent. I think I found my favorite Mexican restaurant, in the US. Too bad it's so far from home.

An old Perkins restaurant converted to a Mexican restaurant... Let's face it your not going there for the decor lol. The food is bad. The place does great business thanks to its liquor sales and location.

Big portions and tasty. Everything is cooked right. It is right off I75 and good for a quick stop. All of the other customers and employees seemed to know each other when we went. It has a friendly atmosphere.

Great place to ride your side by side to. Accessible by road or through the royal blue trail system.

My burrito came out cold and not completely correct might I add but I ate it anyways. My husband's meal was wrong, med rare steak came out well done but he ate it anyways. I had a margarita, not bad but not great. Neither of us complained about our food as we know things happen. At the end I asked for a "to go cup" for my lemon water, the waiter tells us "they will check your cup if you try to take your margarita." I responded with "ok" because I had no intentions on taking the margarita with me because I wasn't fond of it anyways. My husband decided to chug the rest of my drink (about 16 oz. left of a 32 oz. drink). As I go to the cash register to pay, the waiter comes up front and says "you can't take your margarita!" I said to him (very ticked off) "I didn't!" He says "I see that you did!" I pull the lid off my cup and tell him "I have water with lemon". He quickly walked away and did not say anything. DO NOT accuse me of something I did not do!!! Will not return!!

This restaurant has great food at a great price. It is easily located off the royal blue trail 12. The service is great too and extra fast.

Delicious food, fast service. The chips and salsa were great to start with. The food came out fast and hot. Drinks stayed full the whole time. Good portions - we definitely had plenty to eat and left full. Our server was great and checked on us regularly. Right off the interstate and they have a big side parking lot which was great for us since we were driving an RV.

Holy portions!! I cannot believe how much food they gave us for like 12 bucks. I feel like that chair out front is a pretty good indicator of your meal size lol food was awesome, service was good, all around great time.

Food great. The hispanic employees go out if their way to help. Unfortunately our past 2 visits were poor. The waiter brought our food and we ate. We then waited 20 minutes and finally I asked the 2 femal waitresses if we could get drinks and insted of helping us they walked away, the mean time the waiter helping 3 other tables. We then watched the 2 female waitresses go to the bar area and sit down???? Really???? I went and thanked them for NOT helping us. We then went to owner and let him know what happened. He was extremely apologetic and wanted to take something off our bill but we said no. Our waiter was great but way too busy while the females were able to sit and blow off customers which is totally unacceptable!

I have the Carnitas everytime I go there, they have the best I've ever had! And the Yuuuuuuge glasses of sweet tea are just a great compliment to a satisfying meal!

Salsa needs to be fresh not from jar, guac tasted like spoiled avocados, maybe i got a bad batch. Very chill vibes and good food though.

I discovered this hidden gem. It was in plain site. If your ever crossing the mountains north of Knoxville,Tenn. on I-75 @ exit 141. There is a mexican resturant called El Rey. You HAVE to stop at. This is my time out from driving. I am having a frozen Margarita & a burrito,fresh hot chips & salsa. I would give it more stars. If I could. Gotta go burrito is getting cold

Prices are better than the location in Powell. Food is about the same. Overall good quick stop right off of the interstate. Good specials

Great steak and shrimp and cold beer

Ordered hard shell tacos received soft tacos instead. Rice was dried out. You could tell it had been sttting all day. Very plain food had very little to no flavor.

ElReys will forever be my go to Mexican Food restaurant Oneida location is my favorite but both places is great the best cheese dip nation wide

Not a bad meal, although I was a little disappointed in this one.Same old, same old chips. Salsa was bland runny and no kick. I guess it's made for tourists. LOL!I has the lunch Fajitas but apparently you only get the lunch menu price Monday to Friday. Sorry I showed up on a Sunday I guess. Beans and rice were passable and I had the beef which was cooked pretty well and seasoned ok. I would really have loved to see a lot more peppers etc to add more colour and flavour. There also was no pico de Gallo nor any Guacamole which most Mexican restaurants include with their Fajita plates or combos.They also didn't have Jarritos a common Mexican soda pop stocked at most well run Mexican restaurants. I find it's all the little things that add up to a great experience. I felt I was just another table turn here.

Great food, great staff!

A regular, and as such I regularly get a Chile Colorado and a Mello Yello. The food is always good, strips of steak in Chile sauce with tortillas, refried beans and fried rice. Staff has always been good to us, atmosphere can be loud on the busy days, especially with families and their kids.

Food was five stars. Ordered a large top shelf Margarita. I'm thinking they don't know what "top shelf" means. Don't waste your money on a high dollar drink that has the same alcohol content as the mixed pitcher margaritas. I am sure the beer is good. The iced tea is excellent.

Prices are cheaper than the location in Powell. Food equally as good. More choices on menu too. Easy to get to off interstate and get back on. Service was adequate
